Outdated and Mobile Unfriendly
Kouvolan nyrkkeilijät ry wanted to freshen up their website. The old layout wasn’t bad, only a bit outdated and it didn’t scale on different screen sizes.
They didn’t have any wishes for the outcome, so I was free to do anything. I decided that a basic bootstrap layout would be the best solution, considering the amount of time I had for the job. My aim was to make the website easy and fast to scroll on a mobile phone. In addition, a simple and clean layout will age a little better than the previous solutions they had made for their website.
Scattered Information
Another issue with Kouvolan nyrkkeilijät ry’s website was that important information was scattered all over the place. Even though it wasn’t originally my job, I reorganized the existing text and fixed its wording.
For example, boxing training schedule was before a long text list. I made a table based on the information about the training sessions to simplify the site a bit.
